We took the kids to Waterman and met with Aunt Missy, Uncle Pat, Connor and Ellie to ride the Easter train! The kids had a blast - maybe a too much! They were not too happy when it was time to go home!
FIRST TOOTH LOST!
Kyra has had two loose teeth for sometime. Finally, she bit into an apple and the tooth began to fall out! I was able to video tape the whole experience - instead of smiles, there were tears. She was borderline panicked! Once she realized it wasn't hurting, she was excited!
The tooth fairy even visited and left her a dollar for her tooth!
EASTER
Both Kyra and Hunter are growing up so fast it makes my mind spin. It seems like yesterday I was pregnant with Kyra, completely unaware what a pivotal moment her birth would be. Now she is in kindergarten and reading! Even scarier, we are looking into preschool for Hunter!
They drive me crazy! They are non stop movers and talkers!
However, I wouldn't trade them for anything!
SPRING
Life goes by at a rapid speed - or so it seems. Another winter is over (hopefully) and the flowers are WAY ahead of schedule. Every season offers incredible beauty, but Spring seems to be more exciting than any other. The birds are singing and the flowers are bursting with color. Make sure to take some time to see the beauty nature has to offer - it changes before our eyes!
A HIKE AT MISSISSIPPI PALISADES
Our Spring break did not go as expected, BUT what is the saying, when life offers you lemons, make lemonade!
We drove out to the Mississippi Palisades and had a wonderful day hiking and taking in the beauty of the great outdoors!
