The day after Thanksgiving we went to Sinissippi to cut down our tree with the Johnson clan. Kyra and Hunter were able to meet Santa and Hunter engaged Hunter in an intense stare. It was a beautiful day and a great way to kick off the holidays!
KYRA & HUNTER
KYRA
Hard to believe that Kyra is now four years old! She is still as energetic as ever! We have been working on writing her name and recognizing some words in some of her favorite books. Unfortunately her attention span is pretty short. She is still in ballet, but I think she will go back to swimming this winter. We never cease to be amazed at some of the sayings and ideas that she comes up with!
Now that Hunter is one, he has discovered many new tricks! Despite not being much of a talker, Hunter makes his wishes known quite well. Hunter does say momma, dadda, hi and he even said horse last week - not since! He definitely is not the talker Kyra was and is. Unfortunately Hunter has taken to climbing everything in sight, he is definitely mischievous. Best of all he has his own style of dancing! He gives us plenty of laughs!
HALLOWEEN!
This year was a COLD Halloween, but the kids had fun nonetheless! We went to Uncle Kraig and Auntie Melissa's to trick or treat with Kayden, Connor and Landry. Needless to say we came home with wat too much candy, but it has served as a great reward for Kyra!
An awful picture, I couldn't get them to sit next to each other for anything!
Princess Kyra, Dr. Q.T. Patoutie and a Dinosaur!
KYRA'S HALLOWEEN BIRTHDAY BASH!
Hard to believe she is now four! We had her birthday party early this year to avoid cold weather. As it turned out it was VERY cold. (Needless to say her actual birthday was near 70!) Nonetheless, the Kyra had a blast at her Halloween Barn party!
HUNTER TURNED ONE!
Hard to believe that a year has passed since we raced to the hospital to welcome Hunter to our lives! We celebrated his first birthday with family and friends, a very low key event. He was overwhelmed enough with all the attention. He absolutely loved his cake! It took him a few minutes to figure out what cake was, but once he figured it out the cake did not last too long!
