EASTER

Both Kyra and Hunter are growing up so fast it makes my mind spin. It seems like yesterday I was pregnant with Kyra, completely unaware what a pivotal moment her birth would be. Now she is in kindergarten and reading! Even scarier, we are looking into preschool for Hunter!

They drive me crazy! They are non stop movers and talkers! 

However, I wouldn't trade them for anything!

SPRING

Life goes by at a rapid speed - or so it seems. Another winter is over (hopefully) and the flowers are WAY ahead of schedule. Every season offers incredible beauty, but Spring seems to be more exciting than any other. The birds are singing and the flowers are bursting with color. Make sure to take some time to see the beauty nature has to offer - it changes before our eyes!

A HIKE AT MISSISSIPPI PALISADES

Our Spring break did not go as expected, BUT what is the saying, when life offers you lemons, make lemonade!

We drove out to the Mississippi Palisades and had a wonderful day hiking and taking in the beauty of the great outdoors!

FiRST ReaL SNoW!

It took until January 12 (I am not complaining!) before we had a substantial snow. But it is here! - For better or for worse.

The kids and Volto enjoyed playing in the snow. Happy and Max wanted to be inside, as did the chickens who have decided to remain inside their coop today.

As for me, it is a LOT more work when it is cold and snowy :( 

BUT, it is far prettier outside!

Christmas 2011!

Hard to believe it has come and gone again. Another Christmas in the books! We traveled over 500 miles in four days. No, we did not go on vacation. We racked up the miles going from place to place! 

We were blessed to spend Christmas with our family! Here are some snapshots of Christmas this year!
