HaLLoWeeN 2011
We had a great Halloween this year! The kids carved scary pumpkins. Kyra participated in a Halloween parade at school before heading out to trick or treat with the cousins :) Kyra was eager to go to as many houses as possible, meanwhile Hunter was pretty much done after about 10 houses. He was okay with walking with everyone, but he was done going up to houses. I think he did not like the idea of talking to so many strangers!
WORLD'S LARGEST BEET
Here is a photo of the largest beet known to man! I pulled this out of our garden and I was shocked! Several beets grew together to create this monster!
HALLOWEEN PARTY AT THE MUSEUM
Marisa & I took the kids to the museum in Sycamore to attend a Halloween party. Not only did they get to test run their costumes they participated in Halloween Twister, Pumpkin Bowling, A Scavenger Hunt, a Dissection and other fun activities.
