On Sunday we decided the beautiful weather was too much to pass up. We took a family trip to Nachusa Grasslands and Franklin Grove Forest Preserve. Here are some pictures of our day.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL!
Last week the kids attended Vacation Bible School at our church. It was a very memorable week for Kyra. One night she was asked if she wanted to say any special prayers and she replied 'yes. I want to pray to God to take care of my Silver.'. After spending the week at the church I felt blessed to be part of a small church with such a huge heart. The entire week was free. It may not seem that big of a deal, but if you saw the decorations, crafts, games and food you would understand how impressive it was. The majority of the children that attended were not members of the church. For many this is the one connection they have to the church and it was amazing watching how they loved every minute of the program. Kyra is ready for next year's vacation bible school!
